3:52 PM DVD removed for screen captures.
3:56 PM 452mAh Removed from power adapter.

4:26 PM iStat pro started for monitoring "14 minutes remaining"
4:33 PM …running on reserve battery power, "9 minutes remaining"
4:47 PM 0 minutes remaining…
4:51 PM iTunes started with visualizations.
5:00 PM 100% CPU usage.
5:30 PM External fans keep it cool…  Antec Notebook Cooler S
6:00 PM …still running…
6:30 PM Sleep mode, then left to sleep "for five hours"…
10:15 PM Complete shut down. Power adapter plugged in overnight…
February 2, 2008
6:00 AM Disconnect power adapter, open lid, power button.  Starts with date & time error, and dialog box about bad shutdown. 
6:05 AM Connect to network via Airport, and time corrected.
6:08 AM Verify all power saving options off, including keyboard backlight...
6:14 AM iTunes started with visualizations.
6:30 AM 15 minutes remaining
6:31 AM Reposition cooling fan from awkward desk position.
6:34 AM Internal fans running from 100% CPU usage heat.
6:35 AM Now running on reserve battery power…
6:45 AM Fan doing the trick. Antec Notebook Cooler S
7:00 AM iTunes w/ visualizations still 100% CPU
7:30 AM Still running very cool with fans at low, quiet speed.
8:00 AM Only a couple minutes to go...
8:04 AM Sleep mode, then left to sleep "for five hours"…
12:30 PM Still in sleep mode...
12:40 PM Total shut down.
1:00 PM Epoxy glue & clamp
